The decisive variables are roof cover, booking system, whole-court versus per-player pricing, partner matching, equipment and whether a current tariff is public.

If you only read one thing: choose the exact booking product before choosing the club. A THB 1,200 whole padel court can be shared by a confirmed four; a contact-first pickleball session may be organised as open play; a live-booking venue can change price by date and time. Ask for the total, equipment and player format together.

Padel and pickleball solve different holiday problems

Play Padel is at 400/34 Kasetsin Soi 3 in Pratamnak. The operator publishes an indoor arena, daily 10:00-22:00 hours and a standard **THB 1,200 per court-hour**. Private coaching starts at **THB 600 per hour**. A standard racket is **THB 100 per hour**; demo rackets are free for a 15-minute test and then **THB 200-300 per hour** depending on model. Balls are **THB 200-300 per pack**.

The court price is the whole-court amount. Four confirmed players could divide it, but the club does not promise to find missing players. The operator says bookings use Padelmates. New players making an advance reservation must pay ahead; a credit-card payment through the app adds **THB 100**, while cash and Thai QR are preferred. Drop-in bookings are possible, but a free court is not guaranteed.

This is a strong choice when weather control and a readable tariff matter. It is a weaker choice for someone who assumes a late arrival shifts the reserved hour: the operator explicitly says charging begins at the booked start.

Chilli Padel Club: Jomtien, roof cover and social entry

Chilli Padel is on Bun Kanchana 3 in Jomtien. Its current operator page publishes six courts, five under cover, and daily **07:00-24:00** hours. Maps currently lists a 23:00 close, so use the live booking schedule for the final available slot rather than assuming midnight play.

The operator publishes **THB 1,000 per hour for the whole court**, up to four players, and happy-hour courts from **THB 600 per hour**. It says rackets and balls are available to rent without publishing the current rental price. Chilli also advertises a 90-minute introduction, coaching, Americano and other rotating formats, plus player groups for matching.

Chilli is the clearest Jomtien option and the strongest rain-cover proposition in this comparison. A solo visitor should ask which current event accepts the stated level and what the per-player total includes; “social” does not make every event a walk-in.

Pattaya Padel Club: time-band pricing at Mabprachan

Pattaya Padel Club is at 44 Soi Mabprachan Lang 2 in Pong. Its published tariff, checked 25 July 2026, is **THB 600 per court-hour from 10:00 to 16:00** and **THB 800 from 07:00 to 10:00 and 16:00 to 22:00**.

Private coaching is **THB 1,600 for one player**, **THB 2,000 for two**, **THB 2,200 for three** or **THB 2,600 for four** for one hour. This creates a useful decision: a group with transport to Mabprachan may value the published off-peak amount, while a central or Jomtien player must decide whether location still fits.

Ask whether rackets and balls are included, because the checked tariff does not settle that. Beginners should identify themselves when booking so the club can propose coaching or an appropriate game.

Prime Padel Pattaya: price the exact live slot

Prime Padel is a current club at 16/111 Sukhumvit 41. The exact Maps record, operator Instagram and Playtomic listing support the identity. The Asia Pacific Padel Tour records its Prime Padel Pattaya Grand Slam on 17-19 July 2026, providing recent independent venue evidence.

No stable tariff was copied outside the live booking flow. That does not make Prime unbookable; it means the honest price is the amount for the selected date and time. Confirm opening time, court duration, total, racket hire, balls, coaching and cancellation within the booking route. Maps lists closing at 23:00, but the morning opening time requires live confirmation.

Prime is the central-Pattaya padel option in this comparison. It suits someone willing to transact through the current booking system and compare a specific slot rather than use a fixed directory price.

PR Pattaya Pickleball: current name, narrower current hours

The former Pickleball Pattaya record now resolves to PR Pattaya Pickleball at 358/1 Khao Road near Pratamnak Soi 6. Maps uses the PR name and lists **07:00-10:00 and 16:00-19:00 daily**. The older operator site still says 07:00-21:00, so the newer listing is used for planning and should still be confirmed.

The operator site documents two full-size courts, permanent nets, lighting, paddles, balls, a ball machine and beginner lessons with an English-speaking licensed coach. Those facility claims do not establish that all equipment is included in every session. No current public tariff was verified, so ask about open play, exclusive court hire, coaching, paddle use and ball-machine access separately.

PR suits someone seeking dedicated pickleball or a beginner enquiry in Pratamnak. It is a weak choice for a visitor who needs an online numeric price before contacting the club.

Inter Club: one enquiry for several racquet sports

Pattaya Badminton & Tennis Inter Club is on Soi Toongklom-Talman 25 in East Pattaya. Its current Thai Maps identity lists **06:00-21:00 daily**, and the linked operator page shows tennis, badminton and pickleball activity.

No stable current pickleball tariff, court count or session calendar was accessible. Contact the club with the sport, date, number of players and desired format. Ask whether the court is lined specifically for pickleball, whether paddles and balls are available, and whether the quoted amount is per court or player.

Inter Club may suit a mixed household that wants several racquet options at one local club. It does not provide the dedicated pickleball evidence or public product detail of PR Pattaya Pickleball.

How to book as a solo player

Padel normally needs four. A solo visitor should book a lesson, named social event or confirmed partner-matching route. Chilli publishes community groups and rotating formats. Play Padel asks players to avoid no-shows and does not promise that a reservation survives a missing fourth. Prime’s live system can show slots, but a court booking alone does not create partners.

For pickleball, ask whether “open play” means rotating games, which level attends and whether a first-time visitor must reserve. PR documents beginner coaching, while Inter Club requires a direct format check. Do not arrive from the word “daily” alone; business hours are not a session invitation.

Weather, cover and time bands

Play Padel is the indoor choice in this set. Chilli publishes five roofed courts out of six and specifically presents them as rain protection. Do not generalise that cover to every other club. Pattaya Padel Club’s timetable creates an off-peak price band, while PR Pickleball’s current morning and late-afternoon windows avoid implying all-day play.

Ask what happens if weather interrupts an uncovered booking, whether the club moves the slot and when cancellation becomes non-refundable. A roof does not answer heat, ventilation or court-drying questions, and this guide does not invent those conditions.

Equipment and complete cost

For padel, request the court, racket, balls, coaching and booking fee as separate lines. Play Padel publishes each category and a THB 100 credit-card fee for new advance bookings through Padelmates. Chilli publishes court prices but not the current rental amount. Pattaya Padel Club’s public tariff does not settle equipment inclusion. Prime requires the live flow.

For pickleball, ask whether a paddle and balls are included in open play, whether a ball machine is separately charged and which shoes are required. PR’s operator page confirms equipment availability, not the price or inclusion for every product. Inter Club needs the same direct check.

Choose by geography only after product fit

Pratamnak contains Play Padel and PR Pattaya Pickleball. Central Sukhumvit contains Prime. Jomtien contains Chilli. Mabprachan contains Pattaya Padel Club. Inter Club is inland in East Pattaya. Those labels orient the choice but do not create a fixed journey time.

Choose PR for dedicated pickleball and a beginner-coaching enquiry. Choose Inter Club for a multi-racquet household willing to confirm the exact pickleball format.
