Sourcing
We discover venues through local knowledge, community leads, operator directories, and English- and Thai-language search. Discovery is only a lead: a fact is published when a named public source or a recorded direct operator reply supports it.
- Primary source: the venue website, booking page, current social post, timetable or price document
- Public authority or sport-body source: company registry, federation, municipality or event organiser
- Public listing used for identity, location or contact details, distinguished from operator claims
- Direct operator reply retained in the private editorial ledger
Community tips help us find what to check; they are not evidence on their own. We do not claim to have visited a venue unless a future record explicitly carries documented operator-published evidence. At the time of this policy, no venue page carries that claim.
Verification
Each venue is checked for:
- Operating status — current operator activity, public listing state, or a recorded direct reply
- Hours — the exact source is named; conflicts stay visible instead of being averaged away
- Price — a published rate or direct quote gets its own as-of date; missing public prices stay missing
- Category — current programmes, not a historic or marketing-only label
- Facilities and coaches — published only when a cited source names or quantifies them
What the dates mean
Published is the guide's original publication date. Updated changes only after that guide's main content receives a meaningful factual, editorial, structural or functional change. Site-wide navigation, footer or build changes do not move it.
Sources reviewed is the date our editors last re-opened a venue record's sources. Price checked is separate and appears only when a price source exists. A source review can confirm that nothing changed, so it does not automatically change a page's updated date. None of these labels means Tim or Paemi visited, trained at, tested or photographed the venue.
Who, how and why
Pattaya.Gym is funded and published by TimPaemi Co., Ltd.; Tim and Paemi are accountable for publication-level policy, corrections and releases. Ownership does not prove who researched or wrote an individual route, so a guide receives a person byline or Article author only when a route-specific responsibility record supports it.
Software and AI-assisted tools help discover leads, compare records, draft original summaries, rebuild pages and run quality checks. They do not make an unsupported claim true. Material facts must trace to a named public source or recorded operator reply, conflicting evidence stays visible, and unverified social posts, reviews or generated guesses are not auto-published. The purpose is a maintainable local decision resource, not page volume.
Ranking
Category and area directories are inventories, not quality rankings. A guide that ranks or shortlists venues states its decision criteria on that page and uses only supported comparisons relevant to the reader's task. Current evidence, status warnings and fit for the stated use matter; there is no hidden universal score and no paid weighting.
Updates
A sources-reviewed date appears on every venue page. Re-checking is rolling: recent reports, popular records and venues that changed identity or format enter the priority queue. A date records completed source review; it is not an automatic freshness guarantee. Unresolved operation is labelled. Public reports can be sent to info@pattaya-gym.com.
Status history and removals
A confirmed closure can remain as a clearly labelled historical record when that helps readers avoid relying on an old listing elsewhere. Closed and unresolved records are excluded from current-business signals and are not presented as active recommendations.
A record may be removed from public discovery when:
- it duplicates another canonical record;
- it is outside the publication's stated geographic or sport scope;
- there is no reliable evidence that the named venue existed; or
- a justified privacy, safety or legal request outweighs the value of retaining the historical record.
