No current first-hand admission price was published on the checked official visitor page as of 2026-07-26. The blank price field is not a guarantee that every visit, event or part of the site is free. Do not substitute an old travel article or another attraction's price.
If a charge, donation or ticket condition matters, check the current listing or ask locally before entering. There is no coaching, equipment-rental or sports-product price attached to this record.
Wat Phra Yai is an active hilltop temple on Pratamnak, not a gym or outdoor fitness park. Its staircase can form one segment of a respectful walk, but it does not offer supervised training or a measured workout. The religious site comes first, and the official visitor page leaves access and admission questions unresolved.
No formal training is offered. The record exists because the approach includes a substantial staircase that walkers may encounter on a Pratamnak route. The Tourism Authority of Thailand's official page says the main Buddha image was built in 1977 and is approximately 10 metres wide and 18 metres high. It also describes guardian Buddha images associated with days of the week and views across Pattaya and the coast.
Those facts establish a cultural attraction, not a stair circuit, lap length, calorie count or exercise prescription. For conventional public exercise equipment, compare Pratumnak Fitness Park instead.
Pratamnak Hill
The record uses the exact Wat Phra Yai Maps search and the directory address at 384 Regent Soi 2 on Pratamnak Hill. A map pin does not prove a particular parking, drop-off or step-free route. Check the current entrance and any local road restrictions on the intended day.
The checked official page does not publish a fixed route from central Pattaya, a public-transport connection, journey time or fare. Do not plan around an unsourced estimate.
The official Tourism Authority page lists daily visiting hours of 10:00-20:00. Check for local restrictions caused by worship, maintenance or an event. Dress for an active temple and follow posted rules about footwear, photography and sacred areas.
Walk without obstructing worshippers or other visitors. Do not run through groups, repeat drills on the landings, play loud audio, place equipment against religious objects or use the main platform as a training station. Anyone choosing stairs should make a conservative personal decision about heat, hydration, surface conditions and capability.
