Castra Gym
SoiDB lists the local name as คาสตร้ายิม พัทยา; the operator's contact page places this mixed-training gym at 61/17 Soi Khao Talo.
Castra Gym is a Khao Talo weights-and-cardio gym with a separate fight-club offer layered on top, not a pure Muay Thai camp. Its current site makes that split useful: the business has general gym opening hours, while the fight-club page publishes class times and combat pricing. The main limitation is transparency outside that page, because no current public general-gym membership tariff was visible.
What training is on offer
Castra’s current official pages position the venue as a mixed fitness record with strength and cardio training plus Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, yoga and group-fitness coaching. The fight-club page is the clearest current source because it publishes a usable combat timetable: Muay Thai Monday-Friday from 09:00-10:00 and 17:30-18:30, and BJJ Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 19:00-20:00.
That combination makes Castra more flexible than a single-discipline gym. A visitor can compare it as a fitness venue with combat coaching attached, or as an East Pattaya cross-training option for someone whose trip mixes weights with striking or grappling. For location context, use the East Pattaya area page.
What it costs
Castra’s current fight-club page listed one group class at ฿300, ten group classes valid for two months at ฿2,500 and a private class at ฿600 (operator fight-club page, checked 2026-07-27). The same page says gym access is included with those classes, which is important because it distinguishes the combat package from a separate ordinary gym purchase.
What the operator did not publish on the checked public pages was a current general gym-only membership or day-pass tariff. That means anyone who only wants weights or cardio should ask for the exact access product, term, joining fee and whether there is a single-entry option. A blank general-gym price does not mean the combat prices apply to every user.
Who it suits — and who it does not
Castra suits an East Pattaya visitor who wants a mixed training base: weights and cardio plus scheduled Muay Thai or BJJ. It is also a good fit for someone who values a published class timetable but does not need the full residential-camp model of a pure fight gym. Because class access includes gym access, it can be a useful short-stay cross-training option.
It is less suitable for someone whose only goal is a transparent general-gym membership quote before they travel. It is also the wrong fit for a reader wanting a central Pattaya commercial chain with 24-hour member access; the 24-hour gyms guide is a better comparison for that problem.
Getting there
The record places Castra at 61/17 Soi Khao Talo, Nong Prue, Bang Lamung, Chonburi, in the inland Khao Talo / Darkside belt rather than on the beach corridor. The current live hours attached to the main venue are Monday-Friday 07:00-21:00, Saturday 09:00-21:00 and Sunday 09:00-18:00. Save the exact map before leaving because East Pattaya routing is more important here than in a mall location.
This is not a central Pattaya walkable gym cluster. Choose it because the class times and inland location work for your base, not because the city name is the same.
Before you go
If your aim is Muay Thai or BJJ, confirm the exact class, whether the BJJ session is the right format for you and what equipment you need to bring. If your aim is ordinary gym use, ask for the general access tariff because the checked public pages did not expose it. In either case, ask whether the current class schedule changes on holidays.
Also ask whether the private-class price is per person, per hour or discipline-specific, and whether gloves, wraps or other gear are available on site. The venue pages confirm the class blocks and rates, but not the full onboarding details.
What we could not verify
- No current public general gym-only tariff was visible on the checked official pages.
- No full weekly yoga or wider group-fitness timetable was visible on the checked official pages.
- The checked public pages did not state whether BJJ sessions are gi, no-gi or mixed by date.
- No full public equipment-hire or gear-provision policy was visible as of 2026-07-27.
