Access & prices

Pattaya City's published transport table lists the public ferry at THB 30, checked again on 27 July 2026. The municipal PDF does not show a clear revision date, so the amount remains a dated reference rather than a guaranteed future fare. Speedboats, tours, island transport and watersports are different products and are not covered by that figure.

Confirm the fare and destination pier at Bali Hai before boarding. For a separate activity, ask the exact operator for the complete equipment, instruction, insurance, transport, tax, deposit and cancellation total. Do not treat a reseller's “Coral Island package” as the island's official price.

Training & details

Koh Larn is a public island destination rather than one watersports operator. The Tourism Authority of Thailand identifies Koh Lan as a Pattaya highlight and a possible one-day trip; its Pattaya page also lists swimming, snorkelling, sailing, windsurfing and water skiing among activities drawing visitors to the wider destination. That does not prove that a named operator, lesson or safety service is available on a particular Koh Larn beach.

Use this record to plan island access, then choose a separately identified provider for any paid activity. The watersports directory and diving-and-watersports guide distinguish current operators from public destinations.

Arrival details

Public boats depart from Bali Hai Pier in Pattaya and serve different Koh Larn arrival points. Pattaya City's table lists Pattaya departures at 07:00, 08:00, 09:00, 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:30, 17:00 and 18:30, with separate return tables for Naban and Tawaen piers.

Those published rows do not guarantee every sailing. Confirm the destination pier and last return on the same day. The Central Pattaya area page provides context for reaching Bali Hai but does not establish a fixed fare, travel time or connection.

Before you go

Check weather and operating conditions before committing to the crossing. At the pier, verify the boat, destination, fare and final return with the current counter or crew. Keep enough time for local transport back to the correct pier; Naban and Tawaen are not interchangeable labels.

For any watersport, identify the operator, instructor, equipment, participant limits, insurance and cancellation policy before paying. Ask where belongings are kept and what happens if wind, sea state or local decisions stop the activity or return service.

Still unconfirmed

The municipal timetable has no clear revision date, and the checked sources do not publish a single official live status feed, universal island opening hours, one watersports operator, supervised swim zones, lifeguard schedule, equipment standards, accessibility plan or weather-refund rule. The THB 30 reference applies to the listed public ferry, not every boat or activity sold around Bali Hai or Koh Larn.
