If you only read one thing: a Pattaya venue using “boxing” in its name may sell a combined Muay Thai class, a multi-discipline camp, fitness kickboxing or a residential western-boxing package. Those are not interchangeable. Current operator-published evidence documents one combined boxing/Muay Thai timetable at ISS, a residential western-boxing product at Kombat and broader boxing programmes at Rage and Venum. SMASH offers fitness kickboxing. Pattaya Boxing World is an unverified former spectator stadium, not a current training recommendation.

This guide separates the product before ranking the venue. It does not assume that “striking,” “boxing,” “kickboxing,” “K1” and “Muay Thai” describe the same class. If elbows, clinch, a hands-only session or a particular kickboxing ruleset matters, name that requirement in the first message to the operator.

What the labels mean in this directory

• Western boxing: a hands-only discipline. A venue must identify boxing directly; a ring or heavy bag is not enough.
• Muay Thai: a separate striking ruleset that can include kicks, knees, elbows and clinch. Use the Muay Thai directory for the full category.
• Kickboxing: a broad label. SMASH uses it in a coached fitness programme, while another operator could use it for competitive striking.
• K1: a specific request about rules and class content, not a label verified for every venue below.

The distinction matters at checkout. A general-gym pass may let someone use weights without joining coached boxing. A combined striking class may include both boxing and Muay Thai rather than a hands-only block. A residential package includes a room and meals, so it should not be compared directly with one local class.

Quick comparison of current evidence

“Venue hours” show an operating window, not a guaranteed coached session. Blank prices mean no stable current operator-published tariff was found, not free or inexpensive training. The table also does not assign review scores, coach quality or competition status that the operator sources do not establish.

Non-residential transaction example: ISS

ISS Boxing and Muay Thai on Pattaya Klang publishes the most complete current local transaction in this comparison. Its classes page lists boxing and Muay Thai together from 14:00 to 15:30 Monday-Saturday. Prices checked on 25 July 2026 were THB 1,000 for a day, THB 4,000 for a week and THB 8,000 for a month of those classes.

ISS separately prices general gym access at THB 300 per day, THB 800 per week or THB 1,500 per month. The operator describes that access as covering its fitness facilities, boxing, Muay Thai, weight gym, sauna and ice baths from 09:00 to 21:00 Monday-Saturday. It also lists a separate recovery and weight-cut room product at THB 200 per day, THB 600 per week or THB 1,000 per month.

Do not select the lowest ISS figure without naming the intended product. The general-gym amount is not automatically the coached class. The class timetable combines boxing and Muay Thai in its label; it does not promise a hands-only group every day. Ask whether the selected date can serve a western-boxing goal, who coaches it, which parts of the published facilities are included in the chosen pass and whether any registration or equipment charge is extra.

Best documented multi-discipline facility: Rage

Rage Fight Academy off Thappraya Road presents boxing, Muay Thai, BJJ, MMA, strength and conditioning and other fitness work at one camp. The operator documents two Muay Thai and boxing areas with three full-size rings, a BJJ/MMA mat zone and a functional-fitness and weight room. It also documents a pool and on-site accommodation.

The exact Maps identity lists ordinary hours of 08:00-19:00 Monday-Saturday, with Sunday closed. The public training page did not expose a dependable boxing timetable or stable drop-in, weekly, monthly or residential fee table on 26 July 2026. The facility evidence is strong; the exact transaction remains contact-first.

Rage suits a household or training group interested in more than one discipline, but breadth can obscure the booking question. Send “western boxing,” “Muay Thai,” “BJJ” or “MMA” rather than “fight training.” Ask for the exact class, start and finish, group or private format, coach, language, equipment, contact level and price. If accommodation matters, request the room, meals, housekeeping, training frequency, taxes and cancellation terms as one written package.

Venum: western boxing is named, but the session still needs confirmation

Venum Training Camp Thailand on Soi Khopai 12 directly advertises western boxing alongside Muay Thai, MMA, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and cross-training. The operator says its programmes accept beginners as well as experienced athletes. That is sufficient to include Venum as a boxing enquiry; it is not a class-by-class promise.

The public evidence has an hours conflict. The official site lists daily 07:00-19:00, while the current exact Maps profile lists 09:00-19:00 Monday-Saturday and Sunday closed. A locally verified listing checked on 30 July gives THB 2,000/week for western boxing or BJJ, THB 4,000 for Muay Thai, THB 5,000 for all disciplines and THB 1,500 for kids classes. These are third-party planning signals, not an owner-posted tariff; a booking widget displaying a zero amount is not evidence that a session is free.

Ask Venum to identify the next western-boxing group or private session, whether it is hands-only for its full duration, the level expected and what the price covers. Reconfirm the date because the site and listing do not agree on Sunday or the morning opening. If the goal is kickboxing rather than western boxing, ask which ruleset the operator actually teaches instead of inferring K1 from a general combat-camp identity.

SMASH: fitness kickboxing, not a proven fight-camp substitute

SMASH Fitness Kickboxing on Thepprasit Road presents kickboxing, strength and hybrid classes for different fitness levels. It belongs in the fitness category because the operator positions it as a broader coached studio programme, not as a pure western-boxing school or a verified K1 fight camp.

The current exact listing gives 09:00-21:00 Monday-Friday and 09:00-12:00 on Saturday and Sunday. Those are venue hours. The operator routes sessions through a booking platform, and no stable public class tariff was available on the operator-published pages checked on 25 July 2026.

SMASH is a fit here for someone whose goal is a coached fitness class using kickboxing rather than a residential camp or hands-only boxing programme. Ask which class welcomes a first visitor, how much striking technique versus strength or conditioning it contains, whether partner work occurs and what gloves or wraps are required. Someone training for a specific competitive ruleset should ask that question directly and not rely on the word “kickboxing” alone.

Kombat: western boxing as a residential purchase

Kombat Group Thailand in Huai Yai is a current western-boxing option for a traveller who wants training, accommodation and meals in one transaction. Its live price page lists the same residential course heading for Muay Thai or western boxing. The standard-room product checked on 25-26 July 2026 started at THB 20,900 for one week; a deluxe-room week was THB 24,900.

The stated standard package includes training according to the selected programme, use of the gym and equipment, three meals per day including Sunday, air-conditioned en-suite accommodation, pool access, a one-time 30-minute private lesson, specified arrival extras and other listed services. The operator says the displayed amount excludes 7% VAT, a 3% credit-card fee, airfare, taxi service and anything not listed.

A separate Bronze fighter package listed Muay Thai or boxing from THB 12,900 for one week. It uses a single fan room with a Thai-style bathroom and includes training, gym use and three Thai meals daily, while excluding the pool and other resort facilities. It is not the standard package at a simple discount. Align the room, bathroom, pool, food, training, arrival date, payment method and other inclusions before comparing totals.

Kombat is a weak comparison for someone who only wants one local boxing class. It becomes relevant when room and meals belong in the budget. Ask which programme the written quote names, how the western-boxing schedule differs from Muay Thai, whether equipment use covers the needed items, the arrival and departure nights and the final payable total.

Why Pattaya Boxing World is not a current pick

Pattaya Boxing World was a Muay Thai spectator stadium on Sukhumvit Road near Mini Siam. Its exact-name Maps search did not resolve to a live venue during the 25 July 2026 verification, and the official-tourism and local-press material attached to the record concerns its earlier operation.

The former fight-night schedule, ticket figures and phone were removed. Nothing current supports presenting it as a western-boxing gym, a central Pattaya class or an active stadium. It remains in the directory as an unverified legacy record so that older search results are not silently turned into a recommendation.

A spectator venue and a training gym are also different products. For current Muay Thai event records, use the individual stadium pages and verify the exact dated card. Do not travel to the former Pattaya Boxing World address based on its name.

What is not proved by a ring, coach name or programme list

A ring proves that the venue has a training or event space, not that a western-boxing class begins during every opening hour. A coach biography does not establish who will lead a visitor's date. “All levels” does not say whether a complete beginner joins a mixed group, receives an induction or needs a private session first. “Boxing and Muay Thai” does not state the share of time assigned to each discipline.

The checked operator pages also do not support universal claims about loan gloves, sparring, roadwork, class language, competition teams or mandatory contact. Those terms vary by venue and session. Do not copy equipment rules or training culture from one camp to another.

Questions to send before paying

• Is the session western boxing, fitness kickboxing, K1-style kickboxing, Muay Thai or mixed striking?
• What is the exact date, start and finish, and is advance booking required?
• Is the format a group class, private lesson, open gym or residential programme?
• Can a first-time visitor join, and which coach and language apply?
• Does the session include partner drills, sparring, clinch, knees or elbows, and can a visitor opt out?
• What gloves, wraps, mouthguard or other equipment are required, and are rentals or sales priced separately?
• What is the full payable amount, including registration, equipment, VAT, card charges, room or meals?
• What happens if the class changes, the visitor is late or the booking is cancelled?

Tell the operator about the actual training objective and relevant experience. If there is an injury or health concern, obtain appropriate professional advice and tell the coach which movement or contact is unsuitable. This directory can document a programme and transaction; it cannot determine whether a session is medically appropriate.

A practical decision path

• Published local class time and fee: start with ISS, then confirm how much of the selected session serves a boxing goal.
• Several combat disciplines and documented facilities: contact Rage for the exact boxing slot and transaction.
• Western boxing inside a branded multi-discipline camp: contact Venum and resolve the hours conflict.
• Fitness-led kickboxing: ask SMASH for the current class, trial or drop-in terms.
• Room, meals and western boxing together: compare Kombat's standard and Bronze inclusions and stated charges.
• Muay Thai rather than boxing: use the best Muay Thai guide instead of forcing a boxing label onto a camp.

Location can break a good programme match. ISS is on Pattaya Klang, Rage is off Thappraya, Venum is on Soi Khopai, SMASH is on Thepprasit and Kombat is inland in Huai Yai. Open the exact pin and place the booking around the confirmed class. Do not use a fixed travel time or assume that every “South Pattaya” result is in one walkable block.
